BACKUP WRENCHES

One of the most common injuries in industrial bolting is finger pinching with the reaction arm or the backup wrench. HYTORC Backup Wrenches reduce the risk of injury by providing a convenient hands-free solution to stop the counter-nut from turning. Magnetic locks allow the magnetic backup wrench to be quickly installed and held in place against the side of a steel application. With hydraulic backup wrenches the tension is released hydraulically, which means no hammer or open-end spanner is needed.

  • Magnetic backup wrenches are fitted with a suspension eye so that they can be used in combination with a safety cord.
